SPATRO is a multi-functional intelligent cruising robot, comprised of a drone (head) and a movable body (drone holder). In the event of aerial cruising, four rotors will unfold from the head, turning the head into a drone.

With a simple and sleek exterior design, SPATRO has integrated the latest detection technology and design principles. From a CMFP (color, material, finishing and pattern) perspective, the material/texture and coloring embodied the robot’s promising performance and reliability.

Its waterproof exterior and agile track make it highly adaptive to different ground conditions and work environment. Replacing human labor with robot can greatly reduce human’s workload, work-related injuries and risks, as well as promote work efficiency.

The robot is capable of operating in both self-cruising and remote-control mode. The self-cruising mode is performed with user-defined cruising path and key inspection areas. Human supervision is enabled as all data are transmitted in real time to the server. In this mode, the robot can also plan its charging schedule. In the remote-control mode, all robot movement and detection are overridden by manual instructions. This mode is more suitable for precision operations, such as equipment troubleshooting and investigation of hazardous situations.

The two operation modes can be switched freely to maximize its adaptability and performance.
