Mirna Zordan

Assistant Professor, SUSTech School of Design

Mirna Zordan is an architect and design instructor focusing on human-environment interactions. Based at the School of Design (SUSTech), Shenzhen, she founded and currently serves as the director of the Future Spaces Vision Lab, where she conducts design research, science, and art-based practices to support future wellbeing. Her current approaches rely on focusing on biometric data and responsive environments, leveraging technology for good and as a medium for caring. Her work has been showcased in local and international venues such as the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia (Intelligens. Natural Artificial Collective), the 24th International Exhibition Triennale Milano, and the Sea World Culture and Arts Center, Shenzhen. Through her work, she aims to promote awareness and support for humans' health through empathy-driven design, envisioning a greater presence of humans towards their inner selves, other humans, and the environment.
