Du Qin

Du Qin earned his Ph.D. from the School of Design, Central Academy of Fine Arts. He currently serves as an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University, where he also holds the positions of Deputy Director of the Media and Communication Design graduate program and Head of the BPSLab. He has been elected as an Executive Committee Member of the International Council of Design (ICoD) for the term 2024-2026.

His design research and practice span multiple fields, including graphic design, brand identity, typography, editorial and publication design, and exhibition design. Notably, he has served as lead designer or chief curator for several high-profile design projects, including: Curator of the Weingart Typography China Touring Exhibition, Lead Visual Design for the 10th Anniversary of Shanghai City of Design; Lead Brand and Visual Identity Design for the WDCC World Design Cities Conference.
